Can't wait for Marquez/Casamayor

The big fights between the smaller weight fighters continues in September when Mexico's Juan Manuel Marquez moves up to lightweight to challenge Cuba's Joel Casamayor.
Marquez (48-4-1) will be fighting at lightweight for the first time and is coming off of a narrow split decision loss to Manny Pacquiao in March. Casamayor (36-3-1) is unbeaten in his last six fights and was last seen knocking off Michael Katsidis in a very good fight.

It should be a classic fight between two of the sport's best. Both have fought and beaten some of the best in the sport. Marquez is making his second move up in class and will provide a stern test for Casamayor.

Both are slick fighters and both seem to still have plenty left in the tank. This is a pick-em fight as far as I'm concerned. The fight could come down to who is consistently busier and whether Marquez can handle the heavier weight.

Pacquiao handled the move to lightweight against David Diaz with relative ease. If Marquez can handle the move up to 135, I believe he's the better fighter, but not by much. Anyway, should be a great fight.

Also in September, Katsidis will take on Juan Diaz in what should be another great lightweight fight. Diaz is coming off a March loss to Nate Campbell in Mexico.

The winner of the Diaz/Katsidis bout is back in line for a title shot, while the loser will have to head back to the drawing board.

The Juan Diaz/Katsidis fight should be an all-action fight that could end in any number of ways.

Diaz must regain the form he had before the loss to Campbell. Katsidis is all-action and we'll see if he's learned from his loss to Casamayor.
