I haven't gotten any confirmation but a name that popped up late Monday night for the New Mexico State head coaching job is South Carolina St. head coach Oliver "Buddy" Pough. He has been at SC State since 2002, but prior to that was on Lou Holtz' staff at South Carolina when the team was pretty solid.
