Chase Holbrook and weekend all-star game

Saturday is a big day for former New Mexico State quarterback Chase Holbrook. His talents will be on display in the Texas vs. Nation All-Star football game at the Sun Bowl in El Paso.

He'll have to prove that his numbers weren't just a product of the Hal Mumme Air Raid system.

Holbrook will have to prove that he can produce big numbers in other systems and that he can handle the pressure of the next level.

He'll get looks because of his accuracy and size (6-5). I'm not sure he'll get drafted, but a good showing on Saturday afternoon will only help him get positive feedback from the NFL.

Wow Felix, Good job!!
I too read Bret Bloomquist article on the EP Times this morning...you came pretty close to copying the article yourself!

How about doing some real reporting and keeping us up to speed on Coach Walkers recruits!

Can you do that or are you waiting for the AP to put something before putting your own spin on it?

Get a life - your Felix bashing is getting old. Do you seriously not know that reporters pick up information from all kinds of sources - including other newspapers. This is a local preps blog so unless Coach Walker actually gets a local athlete to commit, I don't want to read it here.
