Sunland Derby needs to be graded

Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino has been trying to get its main race, the Sunland Derby, graded in recent years to no avail. The race, a Kentucky Derby prep race, now has even more reason to have the race graded.

Mine That Bird, which ran fourth in the Sunland Derby and second in the Borderland Derby, will run in the May 2 race at Churchill Downs. In addition, Advice, which ran fourth, won last weekend's Lexington Stakes.

Also, the Sunland Derby winner Kelly Leak is a solid horse as well.

If the field in this year's Sunland Derby can't help the race get graded, then I'm not sure what will. The track has done everything it can to help the race get graded from increasing the money to changing the date of the race.

FC, I'm not that familiar with horse racing, though I do enjoy watching the triple crown stuff. Can you explain what this post is about? Thanks.

Anonymous, there are big races that have grades associated with them from 1-3 with 1 being the highest. Graded races usually involve the best of the best and if Sunland Park can get its race graded, then it will attract even more quality horses in the future and thus be a stepping stone to the Kentucky Derby and other Triple Crown races in the future.

Constantly overview task postings carefully before you apply. Observe the wanted qualifications, task outline and other specifics inside the postings you review. You need to avoid obtaining tasks you are clearly not skilled for and be sure the papers you submit along with your app match the content the employer desires to receive.
