Las Cruces' Austin Trout will fight Venezuelan Marcos Primera on the July 31 fight card in Las Cruces at the Pan American Center.
Trout is 18-0 and is coming off a eight-round decision win against Shawn Garnett last month in Toronto.
Meanwhile, Primera is 20-17-2, but hasn't fought since 2007. He is durable and has fought some decent fighters.
