Here is this week KRQE, Ch. 13 prep football poll that I vote in on a weekly basis. Las Cruces High remains No. 1, followed by Mayfield. What are your thoughts on the Bulldawgs and should they still be ranked No. 1? It's a tough call because the Bulldawgs are 8-0 with some impressive wins against Eldorado and Artesia, but Mayfield has played the tougher, overall schedule.
Mayfield and Las Cruces High play Nov. 9 with the No. 1 seed in the 5A state football playoffs on the line.
