Juarez fights on Dec. 14

Roman returns to Juarez
Juarez’s Miguel “Mickey” Roman (23-1, 16 KOs) makes his return to Ciudad Juarez on Dec. 14 when he takes on former contender Genario “Poblanito” Garcia (35-6, 20 KOs) in the main event of a card promoted by Promociones del Pueblo at the Poliforo Juan Gabriel. The card will mark the first Juarez fight in a year by, both, Roman and promoter Oswaldo Kuchle. In the semi-final, Juarez’s Javier “Zorro” Castro (13-1, 11 KOs) will take on Jorge Luis “Diablo” Lopez (12-22, 10 KOs) for a minor belt. Also scheduled to fight: Cristian Bejarano (15-0, 7 KOs) will take on Jorge “Ciclon” Reyna (4-4, 1 KO); Chihuahua’s Marcos “Dorado” Reyes (3-0, 3 KOs) takes on Juarez favorite Miguel “Comelonches” Zamarripa (3-1-2, 1 KO); and Chihuahua hotshot Victor Zaleta (3-0, 2 KOs) fights Juarez veteran Alejandro “Apachito” Moreno (21-23-3, 10 KOs).
