Boxer Oscar De La Hoya made a good choice for his new trainer for his Dec. 6 fight with Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas, Nev. Ignacio "Nacho" Beristain, who has trained several Mexican fighters to world championships will be the main voice in his corner, replacing Floyd Mayweather, Sr.
Beristain is a solid trainer, knows Pacquiao well and could be the difference in helping De La Hoya win. Beristain's fighter, Juan Manuel Marquez has fought Pacquiao twice, earning a draw in one fight and losing a close decision in the other.
