Aggie Football versus Alcorn State Game Time Set for 11:30 a.m.
New Mexico State Athletics Director Dr. McKinley Boston announced Wednesday afternoon that the Aggie football game on Oct. 4th against Alcorn State will be played at 11:30 a.m. The Aggies added the game against Alcorn State after their game with Nicholls State was cancelled due to Hurricane Gustav in early September.
Ticket holders will use their tickets from the Nicholls State game for entrance into the Alcorn State game. No exchange will be necessary, as all Nicholls State tickets will be honored at the entrance gates.

Why is this game so early? Our earliest home start time other than this game is 2:00 p.m. It's not like we are going to be on national t.v., and we have to have an early start time.
What?!
The students will still be hungover and won't get out of bed until halftime!
I've never understood why we have early games? No one ever shows up for the 2:00 games.
11:30AM = 3,000 fans.
A+ to the Athletic Dept. for getting a last minute 6th game.
F- for a Terrible time!
I guess I'll be serving pancakes and milk at my tailgate.
I would much rather serve Beer & Brats!
What a lousy time!
I'm sure a lot of things were taken into consideration before the time was set. Perhaps it has something to do with Alcorn's travel arrangements, not always easy to do at the last minute, especially if you don't have the resources to charter a flight. Just a thought.
