In addition to quarterback J.J. McDermott leaving, receiver LaVorick Williams is also leaving the program. He plans to run track at Texas Tech. McDermott is going to Southern Methodist.

I wish he would have stayed till the spring and gave the new staff a chance but oh well get on board or the train will leave the station!!
I work at the El Paso Times in El Paso, Texas, mainly as a page designer and copy editor but I do maintain my sports blog and occasionally write a story.

That's too bad, I really liked the kid and has tons of potential.
