Barney Cotton and Nebraska

I am getting off the ponies, pugs and preps for a couple of graphs.
Former New Mexico State assistant football coach Barney Cotton is headed back to Nebraska for his second stint. He joins Bo Pellini, who was hired away from LSU.
Cotton was the the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach in 2003 under Frank Solich.
He will be the offensive line coach this time around.
Cotton coached at NMSU from 1997-2002, then went to Nebraska, then was an assistant coach at Iowa State for three seasons. He spent this past year as a high school coach in Ames, Iowa.

Of note, Mayfield head football coach Michael Bradley and Pellini were graduate assistants at Iowa in the early 1990's under Hayden Fry.
