Boise State QB

Boise State named Kellen Moore as its quarterback earlier this week. He'll be the first freshman quarterback in school history to start the season opener.

Moore will be following in some pretty big footsteps at Boise State. The Broncos have gotten good QB play over the years from Bart Hendricks, Ryan Dinwiddie, Jared Zabransky and Taylor Tharp.

At WAC media days last month in Salt Lake City, Utah, BSU head coach Chris Petersen talked some about Moore and his potential.

Moore will have some good skill people around him, i.e. running back Ian Johnson and wide receiver Jeremy Childs.

It'll be interesting to see how Moore handles the starting nod and how much he improves now that he has been named the starter.

This "D" is always in the backfield.
