According to multiple sources, it looks like Las Cruces High running back James Hall Jr. will be staying in Las Cruces and signing with New Mexico State.

Well Felix are you going to say that he made the wrong choice in choosing NMSU??? I'm waiting for it.

C'mon people lets get over it. In my opinion Hall was the better of the two so let Dante go to Abq and wish him well. But I am glad that James decided to stay home. I am looking forward to see who else Coach Walker was able to sign in his short time as HC.

That is great news! Of all the local athletes, Hall has the most upside.

I hear coach Walker will sign 5 or 6, THREE star recruits!
If he can do that in one month on the job, image what he can with a full recruiting year and some success on the field!!

Definately, the right man for the job! Go Aggies!

Felix where did you hear about Walker asking Hall to grey-shirt. That never happen. Next time watch what you write.

Great to hear that Hall will stay and play for the Aggies! Us native Las Crucens wish him all the best and can't wait to root for him at Aggie Memorial! Go Aggies!

Actually, the Aggies DID initially ask Hall to grayshirt but reconsidered that offer and now have offered him a scholarship for next year. Felix's report was accurate.

Now, work on the local boys as walk-ons for NMSU and the Aggies will be on their way!!!
Good luck to those who signed elsewhere, and God Speed. They'll need it...

Amazing that LCHS and MHS has two of the best teams in the state each year, our local boys here whip up on the boys from El Paso and Albuq, but yet we only have 4 local boys signing. We should have a lot more especially from likes
NMHU,WNMU,ENMU Come on coachs recruit instate kids...
