More Baseball Previews

Here is another baseball preview for the upcoming season. Today, the Sandia Matadors are featured. Last season, the Mike Robertson-led squad finished 15-14.

The top returns are SS Aaron Sandoval, 3B Jake Flores, OF Justin Jones and p/3B Robert Gunther. Robertson expects catcher Jake Groth and outfielder Trenton Lawton, both juniors to contribute to this year's squad.

What are you doing Felix?
Who give a rats #$s about northen squads......there are four local teams here and you bearly mentioned one? Are you lobbying for a job in Albq?

Listen, I'm trying to give attention to baseball as a whole. I'll get stuff up on the local teams both on the blog and in print. There are plenty of people who want to know about other teams. Plus it's my blog, I can do whatever I want.

If plenty of people wanted to know about northern teams, then they should log on the the Journal or Tribune....looks like at least 4 to zero in favor of the locals.....
you don't see squat about the cruces teams in any albqu. papers or blogs, we have one source of info on all four teams, this news paper and so far just Mayfield, and on that one you didnt even get the players positions correct....
tisk tisk. True it is YOUR Blog, maybe change the name a bit: pugs, donkey and Northern preps.

4 kids from town make pre season all state and nothing in the sun news or pugs. I don't mind reading about the other schools, but I do wanna know what's going on around here first.

four kids did make pre-season all state. why isn't there anything about that? is that not a big deal to the sun-news or u felix? these kids bust their butts all year long, the least u can do is write a article on them!
