NMSU coaching news

Apparently former Washington State QB and NFL QB Timm Rosenbach could be on the New Mexico State football staff if UCLA defensive coordinator DeWayne Walker is hired as the school's head coach.

Rosenbach has coaching experience at WSU and Eastern Wash. and is apparently in Las Cruces with Walker visiting campus and meeting with NMSU officials.

How do you think this impacts McDermott's decision about transferring? And it seems kinda silly that a head coach wouldn't want to hire his own Assistant..unless they are a package deal?
